CRINGE: Los Angeles City Council Democrat Bungles Pledge of Allegiance (VIDEO)

Los Angeles City Council Democrat Kevin De Leon bungled the Pledge of Allegiance Tuesday morning.

Kevin De Leon, a fixture in the California swamp who ran against incumbent Senator Dianne Feinstein in 2018, said it would be his “honor” to lead the chamber in the Pledge of Allegiance at a Zoom meeting.

De Leon couldn’t recite the Pledge even though he has served in government for well over a decade.

“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America…undervisible, I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America…for which it stands. One nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all…oof.”

The bar is set too low for public officials.
