Trump Campaign Releases First Super Bowl Ad: “Stronger, Safer, More Prosperous”

The Trump campaign released a 30 second ad on Thursday that is scheduled to run nationwide during Super Bowl LIV on Fox this Sunday. Trump campaign press release:

President Trump’s re-election campaign today released an ad that will air in Super Bowl LIV this Sunday, promoting the President’s record of accomplishment on behalf of the American people. The ad, titled “Stronger, Safer, More Prosperous” is one of two history-making 30-second spots the campaign will run during the game. The other 30-second ad will not be released prior to the game and will be seen by the world for the first time when it actually airs.

“Just as the Super Bowl crowns the greatest football team, nothing says ‘winning’ like President Donald Trump and his stellar record of accomplishment for all Americans,” said Brad Parscale, Trump 2020 campaign manager. “With an incredible economy, historically low unemployment, and a policy of putting America first, President Trump is most certainly Keeping America Great.”

The ad makes a number of key points:

• Americans demanded change when they elected Donald Trump.
• As a result, America is stronger, safer, and more prosperous than ever before.
• Wage growth is the best in a decade.
• Unemployment reached a 49-year low.
• Unemployment for African-Americans and Hispanics has hit all-time lows.
• Even with all this success, the best is yet to come.

The Trump campaign began discussions last fall with the Fox network, which is carrying the Super Bowl, and reserved a total of 60 seconds of advertising time in December. It marked the first time in history that a presidential campaign had purchased national Super Bowl advertising.
