Transcript of Ukraine Envoy Kurt Volker’s Testimony Released – Confirms Zero Quid Pro Quo in Trump’s Dealings with Ukraine
Transcript of former Special Envoy to Ukraine Kurt Voker’s impeachment deposition was released on Tuesday.
Volker testified before the House Intelligence, Foreign Affairs, and Oversight committees in October and his testimony once again proves there was no quid pro quo in Trump’s dealings with Ukraine.
Volker resigned from his post in late September.
Kurt Volker’s name appeared in a partisan CIA “whistleblower’s” complaint against President Donald Trump’s dealings with the Ukraine.
What completely obliterates this new scam cooked up by the Deep State-Democrat media complex is that the delayed military aid was released to Ukraine without any actions taken by Zelensky.
In other words, no one was strong-armed, there was no pressure, no quid pro quo.
House lawmakers asked Volker, “Did President Trump ever withhold a meeting with President Zelensky or delay a meeting with President Zelensky until the Ukrainians committed to investigate the allegations that you described concerning the 2016 election?”
Volker: “The answer to the question is no… we did have difficulty scheduling a meeting, but there was no linkage like that.” (screenshot of exchange below)
Congressman Jim Jordan, a member of the House Oversight Committee said very clearly this week that the fundamental facts have never changed.
“No quid pro quo, no kind of conditions were ever in play,” Jordan said. “The two individuals on the call have been very clear that there was no pressure, no pushing, no quid pro quo. The Ukrainians didn’t even know the aid had been held up at the time of the phone call and they took no actions to release the aid.”
“The aid was released 7 and a half weeks later and there was never any actions taken by President Zelensky or anyone else in Ukraine,” Jordan added.
If the military aid was released to Ukraine without any actions taken by Zelensky, then there was zero quid pro quo.
