Rep. Devin Nunes: Biden Already Admitted He Did The Very Thing Trump Is Accused Of Doing

The whistleblower scandal is blowing up in the faces of Democrats.

In what was meant to be a bombshell, U.S. media last week reported that President Trump had urged the president of Ukraine to investigate business dealings of Job Biden’s son, Hunter. He was making $50,000 a month from a Ukranian company that was being probed by a state prosecutor.

Trump allegedly threatened to withhold U.S. aid worth billions of dollars. Democrats immediately said that is an impeachable offense.

But Rep. Devin Nunes, California Republican, said on Sunday that as vice president, Joe Biden has already admitted he did the exact thing Trump is accused of doing.

“The very thing they’re accusing President Trump of doing Biden did and admitted that he did,” Nunes said on Fox News.

Biden has said that the U.S. would withhold $1 billion in loan guarantees from Ukraine if the prosecutor was not fired, but — as Fox News says — ” it remains unclear if this was directly tied to Hunter Biden’s case, as other countries reportedly wanted the prosecutor out as well.”

In another twist, Biden claims he never spoke with his son about his business dealings with the Ukrainian energy company. But Hunter Biden told the New Yorker that he spoke “once” with his father about it.

Trump on Sunday blasted Biden for lying. “And now he made a lie when he said he never spoke to his son,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “Of course you spoke to your son!”

Nunes also said the new so-called scandal reminds him of the Russia collusion hoax, which evaporated after a nearly two year, $40 million probe.

“Doesn’t it feel like the Russia hoax all over again? It’s like the Ukrainian hoax,” he said.
