On 9-11 Anniversary Democrat Ilhan Omar Argues on ‘Face the Nation’ that She Is the Real Victim from the Attacks

At the annual reading of the names memorial at Ground Zero for the victims of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks victim Nik Haros wore a t-shirt emblazoned with a quote from Muslim Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) that downplayed the attacks as “some people did something.”

Nik’s mother was killed in the attacks 18 years ago. He felt Ilhan Omar’s comments earlier this year were reprehensible and outrageous.

Anti-Semitic Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) was asked about the Haros’s statements on Face the Nation on Sunday.

Rep. Omar told host Margaret Brennan that she was the real victim that day.

“So, 9/11 was an attack on all Americans. It was an attack on all of us and I certainly could not understand the weight of the pain that the victims of the families of 9/11 must feel but I think it’s really important for us to make sure that we are not forgetting the aftermath of what happened after 9/11. Many Americans found themselves now having their civil rights stripped from them. And so, when I was speaking to the fact that as a Muslim, only was I suffering as an American who was attacked on that day, but the next day I woke up as my fellow Americans were now treating me as a suspect.”

She believes she was the real victim.
How sick.
