Trump Rips Democrats, Liberal Media For Hoping Economy Tanks

Democrats and the mainstream media are openly cheering for a recessionto hit the U.S. economy in the coming days. They see that as a way to oust President Trump from the White House.

“If there is a recession and the economy is doing worse, not better, than when Donald Trump started, it is hard to see how the majority of the American people, even those who have looked the other way on so many of his indiscretions, will decide to give him a shot at another four years,” Jennifer Psaki, a former White House staffer for Barack Obama, told the Associated Press.

Trump on Friday blasted the naysayers.

“The Economy is strong and good, whereas the rest of the world is not doing so well,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “Despite this the Fake News Media, together with their Partner, the Democrat Party, are working overtime to convince people that we are in, or will soon be going into, a Recession. They are willing to lose their wealth, or a big part of it, just for the possibility of winning the Election. But it won’t work because I always find a way to win, especially for the people! The greatest political movement in the history of our Country will have another big win in 2020!”

Some Democrats say that if a recession hits, it’ll be Trump’s fault. “Do not allow him to escape the accountability that he deserves for what he is doing to this economy,” said Robert “Beto” O’Rourke, a 2020 candidate for the presidential nomination. “He’ll try to blame every other person. The blame rests with Donald Trump. Now it’s incumbent on all of us to call this out.”

“Whether it’s this year or next year, the odds of another economic downturn are high — and growing,” Sen. Elizabeth Warren, another 2020 candidate, wrote in July.

2020 longshot John Delaney said Wednesday that some Democrats are “cheering on a recession”

“it feels like some Democrats are cheering on a recession because they want to stick it to Trump,” he said. “I don’t want a recession because I don’t want these workers in here to face a recession, but I worry that Trump’s policies are bringing one on, Delaney said. “”I just think that it’s very important that we be clear as a party that we don’t want a recession. His economic policies are bad. I think they’re ultimately going to unwind, but I don’t want that to happen. I mean, I’m an American. I want the country to do well.”
