David Hogg Lies About President Trump, Says He Never Visited Parkland After School Mass Shooting

Leftist activist David Hogg. who rose to prominence as a gun control campaigner following the 2018 Valentine’s Day massacre at the Parkland, Florida high school he attended, in a tweet posted Tuesday falsely accused President Trump of never visiting Parkland. In fact, Trump and First Lady Melania visited Parkland shooting victims at the hospital and met with medical staff and law enforcement. Also, Hogg famously turned down a personal invitation from Trump to meet with him at the White House. Hogg claimed he hung-up on the White House when called.

The February 14, 2018 attack on Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School by former student Nikolas Cruz killed 17 and wounded 17 students and teachers–but mostly students.

Hogg falsely accused Trump in a response to a comment by senior Trump administration official Kellyanne Conway reported by The Hill, “Kellyanne Conway: “you have seen this president on the ground with people, Parkland, Florida, Las Vegas, Nevada and certainly victims of natural disasters as well like the hurricanes. So he goes trying to help heal communities.”

Hogg replied, “He never actually came to Parkland”
