On Saturday US Attorney General William Barr ordered a full investigation into Epstein’s death to determine how such a high-profile inmate could have taken his own life and why he was ever removed from suicide watch.
Epstein reportedly hanged himself early Saturday morning shortly after being taken off of suicide watch.
There is no surveillance video of Epstein’s apparent suicide according to many sources familiar with the prison setup.
On Monday AG Barr told the National Fraternal Order of Police in New Orleans that the investigation will go on following Epstein’s death.
Attorney General Bill Barr: “Let me assure you that this case will continue on against anyone who was complicit with Epstein. Any co-conspirators should not rest easy.”
