Guest post by Mike LaChance at American Lookout:
Bernie Sanders is running around the country demanding a $15 dollar minimum wage.
Yet he fails to pay that amount to all of his campaign workers and now they’re demanding it.
You couldn’t make this up.

SANDERS CAMPAIGN BATTLES WITH STAFF DEMANDING $15 HOURLY PAY – WHICH CANDIDATE SAYS SHOULD BE FEDERAL MINIMUM
Campaign workers for Bernie Sanders have taken aim at one of the senator’s key policies in his 2020 presidential run — raising the federal minimum wage.
According to The Washington Post, some members of Sanders’ campaign team have been lobbying to raise their wages so that they make the $15 hourly rate that the Vermont senator has frequently called for both on the campaign trail and in Washington D.C.
The Post obtained a draft of a letter that the campaign’s union planned to send to Sanders’ campaign manager Faiz Shakir which read in part that workers “cannot be expected to build the largest grassroots organizing program in American history while making poverty wages.
Given our campaign’s commitment to fighting for a living wage of at least $15.00 an hour, we believe it is only fair that the campaign would carry through this commitment to its own field team.”
Twitter had fun with this story.
This is my favorite story of the day.
Bernie Sanders' campaign staff has unionized and is demanding a $15 per hour "living wage" and 100%-paid health care for those earning under $60k. The campaign leadership has thus far resisted. https://t.co/mui0DLefis

SCOOP: For years, Bernie Sanders has traveled the country advocating for a $15 per hour minimum wage. His campaign organizers say they aren’t making that much, and they're using his words to protest for higher wages. Via @WaPoSean https://t.co/ZQgnT7jYrx

Hi there, @BernieSanders staffers. I have a book I'd like you to read, kind of neatly encapsulates why he's not going to pay you $15 an hour. pic.twitter.com/lMV3tvJQze
