She’s baaaaaaaack!
Ava Martinez is 8 years old and talks in a squeaky high-pitched voice, saying “like” repeatedly. That makes her perfect to play Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (even though she has to dumb it down a bit to make it believable).
Ava blew up the internet last month when her stepfather posted a video of her impersonating the New York Democratic socialist. “And, like, I want to talk about, like, climate change, because, like, there’s no doubt that cow farts are making the climate change.”
Now Ava’s back with another installment — and this one’s even better.
“Hi, AOC here again, and, like, I’m going to talk about, like, the three branches of the government, which are the Nina, the Pinta and the Santa Maria.”
Then she pretends that her parents have left the room and she says into the camera, “Please help me. My parents are making me do these videos. They’re crazy right-wingers. They watch Fox News and listen to Rush Limbaugh and some Russian guy named Drumpf. I don’t even know who this ABC lady is. I just want to have a normal childhood like Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan.
“But they think doing these AOC … videos will help me get into Harvard so I won’t have to brag my way in and pretend I’m 1/16th Cherokee. Please, send someone. Send ICE, or the FBI — but not James Comey.”
Then she says, “Uh oh, here they come,” as her parents return offscreen.
“… And THAT’S why rich people don’t deserve to keep any of their money no matter how hard they work. I’m Alexandria Oh-Say-Can-You-See and I approved this message.”
After the first installment, people apparently bashed the little girl because her stepfather, Salvatore Schachter, wrote at the top of the new post: “Thanks to everyone who had kind things to say about little AOC (Ava in Orange County). This next video is to the people who looked for any way to be negative, about a sweet, little girl being praised for entertaining & performing, for no other reason than who the subject was.”

In her first video, Ava absolutely nailed AOC as she mocked the New York lawmaker’s “Green New Deal,” and environmental program estimated to cost $93 trillion over a decade.
“Like, in July, the climate was 96 degrees and in February the climate was 36 degrees. OMG, like that’s a huge change in the climate in only four months!” after counting on her fingers.
And Ava shares her thoughts on socialism. “Like, socialism is actually short for social media. I do social media, so I’m a socialist.”
