Trump slammed “loser” GOP Rep. Justin Amash in a pair of Tweets Sunday morning after the lawmaker called for the President’s impeachment.
Libertarian Republican Congressman Justin Amash of Michigan called for the impeachment of President Trump on Saturday, becoming the first GOP congressman or senator to do so. Amash also accused Attorney General William Barr of misleading the public about the findings of the Mueller report.
Last month Justin Amash expressed his openness to running against President Trump in 2020 as the Libertarian Party candidate, so it looks like he wants to drum up some attention.

Trump called Amash a “total lightweight” and accused the GOP lawmaker of “getting his name out there for controversy.”
“Justin is a loser who sadly plays right into our opponents hands!” Trump said arguing the Mueller report showed no collusion, no obstruction.

GOP Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy also blasted Justin Amash and said he votes more with Nancy Pelosi than he votes with him and Republicans.
