The 45-year-old Dais, who was born in Israel, moved to the United States in 1993. Dais was arrested in 2018 after trying to use social media to recruit other terrorists.
Dais planned to bomb street festivals and poison government water supplies. In one Facebook post in February, Dais publicly pledged support for ISIS.
According to an FBI informant, Dais constantly made new social media accounts to promote ISIS, and her accounts were frequently shut down for that reason. In one online convo, Dais told a potential ISIS recruit to ‘act like an ordinary person’ and that total secrecy was needed to carry out the terror attacks.
Prosecutors have not yet revealed what Dais’ prison sentence will be.
