Conservative YouTuber Hunter Avallone was suspended from YouTube for “hate speech.”
According to the conservative-leaning news company The Scoop, Avallone received the following message from YouTube regarding his 635,000 subscriber account:
“We’d like to inform you that due to repeated or severe violations of our community guidelines your youtube account hunter avallone has been suspended. We’d like to inform you that due to repeated or severe violations of our community guidelines, your youtube account has been suspended. After review, we have determined that your account activity violated our community guidelines which state that hate speech is not acceptable on our site…”
Youtube, however, did not specifically address what triggered the “hate speech” suspension.
Many conservatives on Twitter were outraged over Avallone’s suspension. Luckily for Avallone, YouTube eventually reversed the suspension.
YouTube and Google have a well-documented history of banning conservative-leaning channels.
