Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has always been over her head during adult swim time, but now it seems she’s gone right off the deep end.
The New York Democratic socialist went on a rant Tuesday evening (no idea whether she was chugging wine at the time like in this video). But she went out there — way out there.
AOC retweeted this post on Twitter.

Then Ocasio-Cortez added this bizarre rant about Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen.
“In stealing 1000s of children, deporting their parents,& refusing to provide info for reunification, Sec. Nielsen oversaw one of the largest-scale human rights violations in recent history. Awarding her a lucrative deal or prestigious post is to legitimize+celebrate that abuse.”

By the way, in retweeting the post about “following orders,” Ocasio-Cortez is endorsing a comparison to Nazism.
Then she got on a role, saying “climate change” is the cause of the border crisis.
“The far-right loves to drum up fear & resistance to immigrants. But have you ever noticed they never talk about what‘s causing people to flee their homes in the first place? Perhaps that’s bc they’d be forced to confront 1 major factor fueling global migration: Climate change,” she wrote.

Again, she endorsed a weird video.
But Ocasio-Cortez wasn’t done.
“The GOP, corp lobbyists, & Fox expose their dishonesty every time they claim the GND ‘bans cows,’ steals people’s farms, takes your grandma’s lunch money &costs $100 zillion. Maybe if they actually did their job & read HRes109, they could avoid embarrassing themselves so often,” she tweeted.
But, uh, like, she totally, you know, said her $93 trillion Green New Deal (GND) would address “farting cows.”
“We set a goal to get to net-zero, rather than zero, emissions in 10 years because we aren’t sure that we’ll be able to fully get rid of farting cows and airplanes that fast,” said a document released by her office.
“Listen, we’ve got to address factory farming. Maybe we shouldn’t be eating a hamburger for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Like, let’s keep it real,” she also said.
