WTH…? Ralph Northam Claims He Saw Racist Yearbook Photo for First Time Yesterday (VIDEO)

Democrat Governor Ralph Northam held a press conference at 2:30 PM on Saturday to address the yearbook photo of him presumably dressed in either blackface or a KKK robe.

Northam is now claiming he does not believe he is in the racist photo after he initially admitted he was in the racist photo and apologized for it.

Ralph Northam refuses to resign despite mounting pressure from Democrats and Republicans to step down.

Now this…

Northam said in his presser that he was shocked when a staffer brought the yearbook photo to his attention because he had never seen it before.

YEAH RIGHT!

“When my staff showed me the photo in question yesterday, I was seeing it for the first time.” Northam said. “I did not purchase the EVMS yearbook and I was unaware of what was on my page,” Northam added.

“When I was confronted with the images yesterday, I was appalled that they appeared on my page but I believe then and now that I am not either of the people in that photo.”

This claim by Northam is absurd on the face of it given that his racist yearbook photo was already circulating behind the scenes last year according to Dan Bongino.

Furthermore, a wife of one of the doctors who went to medical school with Northam and is in the yearbook on the page next to Northam implies this racist photo was something discussed in certain circles.

Via WaPo:

Joan Naidorf, whose husband’s yearbook page sits opposite Northam’s in the yearbook, said she was surprised the photos are only now just coming out, given Northam’s stature in Virginia politics…

Like other schools, Eastern Virginia Medical School allowed students to pick their own photos for their yearbook page, Naidorf said. Her husband chose their engagement photo and some other personal pictures. Another student chose a picture of men also in blackface and dressed as woman in what appears to be a variety show routine.

How on earth would Ralph Northam be able to be in politics for over a decade and not know there is a photo of two men dressed in racist garb on his page in his medical school yearbook??
