Hmm… After Reviewing Hundreds of Hours of Surveillance Footage, Chicago Police Still Have Not Found Video of Attack on Jussie Smollett

Things that make you go hmmm.

According to a report by TMZ, “Empire” star Jussie Smollett, 35, was brutally beaten by 2 white men in ski masks at 2 AM in Chicago this week.

TMZ reported that according to sources directly connected to Smollett, he was walking to Subway to get something to eat at 2 AM when 2 white men wearing ski masks put his head in a noose, poured bleach on him and screamed, “This is MAGA country!”

According to TMZ, someone also yelled, “Aren’t you that fag*ot ‘Empire’ nig*er?”

Jussie Smollett reportedly still had the noose around his neck nearly an hour after the ‘attack’ when police officers arrived on the scene. Weird.

The story immediately began to fall apart after there were conflicting reports from the Chicago Police about the attackers screaming “this is MAGA country!”

Jussie Smollett initially did not tell Chicago Police that the attackers may have been Trump supporters. Smollett told police about the attackers screaming “this is MAGA country!” in his second interview with detectives after the narrative was already making the rounds in the media.

Furthermore, the story just doesn’t make sense.

Why on earth would two white Trump supporters be hanging around in subfreezing temps with rope and bleach and just happen to run into a celebrity and recognize him at 2 AM in the streets of Chicago?

Now this…

Chicago Police say that detectives have reviewed hundreds of hours of surveillance footage and have not found any that shows the alleged attack on Jussie Smollett.

Associated Press reported:

Chicago police say they’ve reviewed hundreds of hours of footage from downtown surveillance cameras but haven’t found footage yet of the alleged attack on “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett.

The department said in a news release late Tuesday that detectives reviewed footage from privately-owned cameras near where Smollett says he was attacked and will broaden their search by reviewing footage from traffic cameras and public bus cameras.

Trump-hating tweets posted by Jussie Smollett are also raising eyebrows about his claims he was attacked by racist white Trump supporters.
