President Trump is already blaming the Democrats for the impending government shutdown after a fierce battle over border wall funding.
If the government shuts down this weekend it will be a Schumer shutdown.

The Senate passed a stopgap funding bill Wednesday night and excluded the $5 billion Trump requested for border wall construction.
On Thursday, the House passed a revamped bill after scrambling to add an amendment following Trump’s refusal to sign it without border wall funding.
The bill is now back in the Senate where it needs 60 votes to pass to avoid a looming Saturday government shutdown.
The President called for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to go nuclear and get the bill passed with 51 votes.
The nuclear option isn’t looking so good right now because many Senators have already put out statements confirming their opposition.
The Senate is now in a meeting for the first time since the House passed the new bill.
