Bob Dole vs. The NFL: Character vs. Crass

Former Senator and Republican presidential nominee Bob Dole paid his respects this week to his friend President George H. W. Bush.

Dole, 95, who was injured in World War II decades ago, was helped out of his wheelchair on Tuesday to salute George H.W. Bush in the Capitol Rotunda.

It was an unforgettable moment of a patriot, a war hero and an honorable man.

George H. Bush and Dole represent the best of America.
The two fought to liberate the world from Nazism and then later from Communism.

Today’s generations are not taught this about the goodness of America, about our historically successful economic model, about our guaranteed God-given freedoms.
Sadly, many of our heroes are forgotten or slandered as imperfect humans.

Instead we have Socialist Democrats in the House, we have anti-Semitic Democrats serving in the House, and we have NFL players making millions dishonoring our flag, our history, and our sacrifice.

America needs more Bob Doles.
