Where is Speaker Paul Ryan? With Mid-Terms in Three Weeks He’s Nowhere to be Found

Guest post by Joe Hoft

Where the hell is Speaker Paul Ryan? It appears for the second major election in a row he is doing all he can to stop the Trump Train!

In 2016, during the Presidential campaign Speaker Ryan stated in a call with House Republicans that he would never support then Presidential candidate Trump, and he never has –

During the President’s first year in office, Ryan couldn’t contain his disdain for the President. Every time he was with the President he had a horrible smirk on his face.

Ryan never realized how disgusting his actions and lack of support were to Republicans who admire President Trump for his courage and efforts to change America for the better after the eight destructive years of the Obama Administration. In spite of significant head winds from corrupt Democrats, the media and NeverTrumper Republicans, like Ryan himself, the President succeeded in accomplishing a significant portion of his agenda in his first year in office alone.

But in March 2018, Ryan provided the President a monstrous spending bill. The President signed it but reluctantly. Americans voted against massive spending from the Obama years by voting for Trump. In spite of President Trump’s deficits being half that of Obama’s, the spending bill was not popular and Ryan knew it. Ryan gave the Democrats all they wanted and yet didn’t provide any money for President Trump’s wall on the Southern border.

Since announcing his run for office, the media and Democrats attacked President Trump relentlessly. He still is under attack by the unconstitutional Mueller investigation. In the face of these attacks on Trump and his family, Speaker Ryan remains silent.

The most disturbing actions by the current Speaker are his support for individuals that are against our President. For example, former FBI Head Comey slandered the President earlier this year and Ryan responded by sharing his support for dirty cop Comey.

In April, Speaker Ryan announced that he was retiring from the House of Representatives. No doubt his plans were to watch the House change parties in the mid terms in three weeks.  Ryan could then watch innocently as the Democrats harass and impeach President Trump for false crimes in an effort similar in fashion to the one they recently performed on Judge Kavanaugh.  Ryan could wash his hands from the spectacle and then run for President as the savior of the elitists in the Republican Party.

Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) joined FOX and Friends in July to discuss the upcoming midterm elections. Ryan said he was confident about the November elections because the GOP Congress ran on his “Better Way” plan and they stuck to it.

Ryan did not mention President Trump or his historic “Make America Great Again” platform that turned his home state Wisconsin from blue to red for the first time in over 30 years.

Via FOX and Friends:

Instead of stepping aside and having a new Speaker take over when he announced his resignation, someone who would work with the President to push his agenda, Ryan stays on.  As the mid-terms approach, Ryan is no where to be found.

His website promotes his attendance in April with Never Trumper Stephen F. Hayes, Editor-in-Chief of The Weekly Standard, a media outlet that never got on the Trump Train. Ryan touts that he served as keynote speaker at their Midwest Conservative Summit in Milwaukee.

One of Ryan’s top 5 issues of the week is DACA.  There’s no mention of the mid-terms in the top 5.  There’s no word where he is at or who he is supporting.  Where did this guy go again?  Why is he not doing all he can to help Republicans win the House in November?  Is he hanging out with the ever absent sleepy AG Sessions?

God willing the House will continue to be governed next year by the Republican Party.  Either way it will be nice not seeing that smug look on Paul Ryan’s face every time he is with our great President.
