It is reported that the caravan of mostly military-aged Honduran males has swelled to over 14,000 people as it marches up Mexico to the US border.
The DHS confirmed this week that gang members and other dangerous criminals are embedded in the caravan.
Migrants from the Middle East, Africa and South Asia have also latched onto the caravan, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
President Trump declared a national emergency Monday morning and announced that he will begin cutting off aid to Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala as the migrant caravan marches through Mexico up to the U.S. border.

The President is also using the military to stop the caravan.
The Associated Press reported earlier Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis is expected to send over 800 troops to the US-Mexico border to help the border patrol deal with the caravan of migrants from Central America.
Promises made, promises kept.
“They will be stopped!” President Trump promised on Thursday morning.
Brandon Judd of the National Border Patrol Council is right when he says on @foxandfriends that the Democrat inspired laws make it tough for us to stop people at the Border. MUST BE CHANDED, but I am bringing out the military for this National Emergency. They will be stopped!
