President Trump Says DOJ Should Investigate ‘Resister’ Who Penned Anonymous NYT Op-Ed

On Friday, citing national security concerns, President Trump said the Justice Department should investigate to find the identity of the ‘resister’ who penned the anonymous NYT op-ed, reported the Associated Press.

On Wednesday, The New York Times published an op-ed from an anonymous senior Trump administration official bragging about being a saboteur inside the White House.

The author claimed people within the Trump administration are ‘working diligently from within to frustrate parts of Trump’s agenda.’

The anon official trashed President Trump’s leadership style, suggested he was mentally unstable and praised John McCain.

President Trump immediately came out swinging and slammed the piece as a “gutless editorial.”

Trump also fired off an angry tweet, “TREASON?”

On Wednesday evening, President Trump DEMANDED The New York Times turn over their anonymous source for “national security purposes.”

TRUMP: Does the so-called “Senior Administration Official” really exist, or is it just the Failing New York Times with another phony source? If the GUTLESS anonymous person does indeed exist, the Times must, for National Security purposes, turn him/her over to government at once!

Jeff Sessions is probably taking a nap, so this looks a job for Judicial Watch.

President of Judicial Watch Tom Fitton said the watchdog group launched an investigation into the identity of the anonymous Trump-hater who penned the NYT op-ed.
