Is Kentucky Conservative Judge Amul Thapar Trump’s Second Supreme Court Pick?

President Trump interviewed at least four possible candidates to fill the vacancy in the United States Supreme Court.

According to the Washington Examiner the five federal judges Brett Kavanaugh, Amy Coney Barrett, Thomas Hardiman, Amul Thapar, and Raymond Kethledge are considered to be the frontrunners.

The White House announced Monday the people who will be running point on the impending Supreme Court nomination battle.

Justice Anthony Kennedy announced his retirement last week and President Donald Trump said this weekend he would be making his decision on July 9th:

Thapar was the first judge nominated by Trump to a district of appeals court.

We may have the first Indian-American justice on the Supreme Court.
