On Thursday, Inspector General Michael Horowitz released his much anticipated review on FBI and DOJ actions during the Hillary Clinton email investigation.
According to the IG report, then-FBI Director James Comey used a secret Gmail account when conducting FBI business, despite warning other agents they would be in “huge trouble” if they did the same thing.

James Comey used a personal Gmail account to conduct FBI business on numerous occasions when he was director of the bureau — even though he warned FBI worker they would be in “huge trouble” for doing the same thing, the Justice Department‘s internal watchdog revealed Thursday.
Comey’s frequent use of a personal email account for unclassified FBI business was “inconsistent with” the policy statement for email use by the Justice Department, according to a report issued by the Office of the Inspector General.
The findings were published on page 425 of the report.
The IG noted Comey blasted agents in a speech in October of 2016 over the use of private email/private server.
“I have gotten emails from some employees about this, who said, “If I did what Hillary Clinton did I’d be in huge trouble.’ ”
“My response is you bet your ass you’d be in huge trouble,” Comey said in that speech.
“If you used a personal email, Gmail or if you [had] the capabilities to set up your own email domain, if you used an unclassified personal email system to do our business in the course of doing our business even though you were communicating with people with clearances and doing work you discussed classified matters in that, in those communications, TS/SCI, special access programs, you would be in huge trouble in the FBI,” Comey said.
“Of that I am highly confident,” he added. “I’m also highly confident, in fact, certain you would not be criminally prosecuted for that conduct.”
The IG report identified FIVE different instances where Comey used a Gmail account to conduct official FBI business, CNBC reported.
So why the hell is Comey still walking around freely after all of this has come to light??
The Inspector General said Comey broke from FBI procedure but was not politically biased.

On Thursday, fired FBI Director James Comey responded to the Inspector General’s report in an op-ed in the New York Times.
‘This report says I was wrong. But that’s good for the FBI,’ said Comey.
Comey penned an op-ed in the New York Times prior to the IG report being released to the public.
