On Friday, June 15, 2018, Matthew Wright barricaded himself inside an armored truck on the Hoover Dam.
Matthew Wright demanded the full release of the OIG Report. He held signs in his window for “Mr. President” Trump.
He added, “We the people demand full disclosure.”
Wright is now in custody after he barricaded himself in a makeshift armored truck on the Hoover Dam.
Mr. Wright stopped on the highway near the Mike O’Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge around noon on Friday, prompting authorities to stop traffic and evacuate the area.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the man has been identified as Matthew P. Wright, 30.
The Hoover Dam is a popular tourist destination, as it is where the Nevada and Arizona state lines meet. Tourists who were visiting the dam on Friday took to social media to talk about how they were being evacuated from the area as a result of Wright stopping an armored vehicle on the bridge.
