Louie Gohmert: I Went After Paul Ryan on Empty Promises to President Trump and Trump Voters (Video)

Rep. Louie Gohmert went on with Lou Dobbs on Thursday after the conservative immigration bill failed to pass Congress today.

Gohmert said he went after Speaker Ryan after his empty promises and lies to Trump voters.

Rep. Louie Gohmert: Our Speaker said and was quoted as saying, “Donald Trump was hearing voices that none of us heard.” And I went up to him and I brought that up to him and said some of us were saying the same things that President Trump was saying. And he said look I was just trying to pay him a complement. And I said that’s the problem you haven’t been listening to the people that got Trump elected. And I said you didn’t support his idea of having a wall. You supported some form of amnesty legalization all along. And a totally secure border, you haven’t been there. So I’m going to need to know you supported all of the things that got Donald Trump elected president And he said, “Look, Louie. We’re talking every day. We’re doing great.” And I said that is answering my question… It appears we have leadership that was never going to deliver for the president.
