Earlier this week,
FBI KGB agents raided the office of one of Trump’s personal lawyers Michael Cohen at the request of Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
They were looking for dirt on Stormy Daniels and seized attorney-client privileged communications between Trump and Cohen.
It was revealed Wednesday that agents were also looking for records on the “Access Hollywood” tape.
What the hell does a decade old hot mic recording have to do with Russian collusion?
Via The New York Times:
The F.B.I. agents who raided the office and hotel of President Trump’s lawyer on Monday were seeking all records related to the “Access Hollywood” tape in which Mr. Trump was heard making vulgar comments about women, according to three people who have been briefed on the contents of a federal search warrant.
The search warrant also sought evidence of whether the lawyer, Michael D. Cohen, tried to suppress damaging information about Mr. Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign.
It is not clear what role, if any, Mr. Cohen played regarding the tape, which was made public a month before the election. But the fact that the agents were seeking documents related to the tape reveals a new front in the investigation into Mr. Cohen that is being led by the United States attorney’s office in Manhattan.
Rep Ron DeSantis (R-FL) responded to the NY Times article on Wednesday.
DeSantis tweeted: “What the heck does the “Access Hollywood” tape have to do with Russia collusion? This investigation is a fishing expedition!”

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein signed off on the FBI raid.
It is obvious that Rosenstein is retaliating against President Trump for demanding the DOJ and FBI turn over the 2-page unredacted document which will show how and why the Russian collusion investigation began in the first place.
House Intel Chairman Devin Nunes is preparing to hold Rosesntein and Wray in contempt of Congress.
In fact, the Wednesday night deadline is looming. Nunes told Laura Ingraham Tuesday evening not only will he hold them in contempt, the House GOP will also move forward with impeachment.
Trump supporters don’t care about his vulgar locker room talk, which he said in private over a decade ago.
Hillary’s plan to have the “Access Hollywood” tape released as an October surprise right before the election was an epic failure. WE DON’T CARE.
