Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe is in hot water.
The Inspector General recently issued a scathing report on McCabe revealing he ‘lacked candor’ (lied) several times, including under oath.
A new report by investigative journalist Sara Carter reveals McCabe may have given a ‘stand-down’ order on the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton.
Sara Carter reported:
Multiple former FBI officials, along with a Congressional official, say that while there may have been internal squabbling over the FBI’s investigation into the Clinton Foundation at the time, there was allegedly another “stand-down” order by McCabe regarding the opening of the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of her private email for official government business.
McCabe’s stand-down order regarding Clinton’s private email use happened after The New York Times first reported Hillary Clinton Used Personal Email Account at State Dept., Possibly Breaking Rules in March 2015 and before the official investigation was requested by the Justice Department toward the end of July 2015.
After The New York Times publication, the FBI Washington Field Office began investigating Clinton’s use of private emails and whether she was using her personal email account to transmit classified information. According to sources, McCabe was overseas when he became aware of the investigation and sent electronic communications voicing his displeasure with the agents.
“McCabe tried to steer people off the private email investigation and that appears to be obstruction and should be investigated,” said one former FBI official with knowledge of the circumstances surrounding the investigation. “Now if the information on the ‘stand-down’ order is obtained by the IG that could bring a whole lot of other troubles to McCabe.”
Andrew McCabe didn’t recuse himself from Hillary’s email investigation until ONE WEEK before the election.
According to Judicial Watch McCabe controlled resources supporting the investigation into Hillary’s email scandal while his wife was running for Virginia State Senate:
While working as Assistant Director in Charge of the Washington Field Office, McCabe controlled resources supporting the investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s email scandal. An October 2016 internal FBI memorandum labeled “Overview of Deputy Director McCabe’s Recusal Related To Dr. McCabe’s Campaign for Political Office,” details talking points about McCabe’s various potential conflicts of interest, including the FBI’s investigation of Clinton’s illicit server, which officially began in July 2015.
Andrew McCabe’s wife, Jill recently argued in a WaPo op-ed that her husband’s involvement in Hillary’s campaign came after contribution were made to her campaign in her State Senate run:
“Andrew’s involvement in the Clinton investigation came not only after the contributions were made to my campaign but also after the race was over. Since that news report, there have been thousands more, repeating the false allegation that there was some connection between my campaign and my husband’s role at the FBI.”
Inspector General Michael Horowitz criminally referred McCabe to the Justice Department, making it the second criminal referral for the former Deputy Director of the FBI.
The Hillary-FBI-Campaign contribution (payoff) cycle of the swamp is exactly what Americans are fed up with.
McCabe’s wife received a HUGE campaign contribution from a Clinton crony only to have Hillary’s investigation handled with kid gloves by her husband–now we find out he may have attempted to obstruct an investigation into Clinton.
