The gloves are off.
President Trump began to really hammer Mueller Saturday and he continued to unleash his fury on the Special Counsel into Wednesday morning.
President Trump really started to ratchet up his attacks on Mueller Saturday morning.
Earlier Saturday morning, President Trump’s lawyer John Dowd told the Daily Beast it’s time for Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to shut down the Mueller witch hunt.
Later Saturday evening, President Trump warned Mueller over the witch hunt and hammered Crooked Hillary and her fake dossier.
On Saturday, President Trump tweeted: The Mueller probe should never have been started in that there was no collusion and there was no crime. It was based on fraudulent activities and a Fake Dossier paid for by Crooked Hillary and the DNC, and improperly used in FISA COURT for surveillance of my campaign. WITCH HUNT!

President Trump is correct about Mueller’s witch hunt having massive conflicts of interest.
As previously reported, according to Gregg Jarrett with FOX News, “Robert Mueller has a serious conflict of interest that should disqualify him from serving as special counsel. He has had a long and close relationship with someone who will surely become a pivotal witness –James Comey.”
Jarrett defines that statute regarding conflicts of interest with special counsels –
The law governing the special counsel (28 CFR 600.7) specifically prohibits him from serving if he has a conflict of interest in the case. The rule has been interpreted to mean that even the appearance of a conflict is sufficient for disqualification.
A conflict of interest is a situation in which an individual has competing interests or loyalties. The conflict itself creates a clash between that individual’s self-interest or bias and his professional or public interest. It calls into question whether he can discharge his responsibilities in a fair, objective and impartial manner.
Now this…
On Wednesday, President Trump unloaded on Mueller again by quoting Attorney Alan Dershowitz, a lifelong Democrat.
Trump tweeted: “Special Council is told to find crimes, whether a crime exists or not. I was opposed to the selection of Mueller to be Special Council. I am still opposed to it. I think President Trump was right when he said there never should have been a Special Council appointed because…..

Part two: …there was no probable cause for believing that there was any crime, collusion or otherwise, or obstruction of justice!” So stated by Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz.

Many Trump supporters interpret the president’s recent attacks against Mueller as a sign he’s ready to fight the special counsel.
President Trump also recently added former federal prosecutor Joe DiGenova to his legal team which galvanized Trump’s base.
