NFL television ratings took an historic nosedive this year.
Ratings were down by 10% last season.
This follows an 8% decrease in ratings in 2016.
Maybe supporting anti-military protests and kneeling during the National Anthem was not such a smart move, huh?

Over 200 NFL players knelt during the US national anthem on Gold Star Mothers Day this year.
The most outrageous act of defiance was the antics by LeSean McCoy of the Buffalo Bills who stretched and ran off the field during the National Anthem.
But the NFL players want to continue their protests for Black Lives Matter.
This week the NFL Players Association defended the millionaire football players’ right to kneel during the National Anthem.
It looks like the league is not very eager to win back former viewers.
Good luck with that, Kneeler League.
