An arrest was made in connection to the Washington DC area explosive package investigation.
The suspect was arrested in Washington state.
The U.S. military was investigating several suspicious packages discovered at various military outposts around Washington, D.C. on Monday.

BREAKING: Multiple agencies in the DC area reported receiving suspicious packages at their locations. All deemed safe and in FBI custody.

An arrest was made Monday night in connection to the suspicious packages.
The suspect is expected to make a court appearance on Tuesday.
One package tested positive of explosive materials.
