School Shooting Survivor Cameron Kasky Likens Marco Rubio to Crazed Killer Nikolas Cruz (VIDEO)

Cameron Kasky, 17-year-old junior at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School who survived the Parkland, Florida school shooting by a former student that killed 17 students and faculty last Wednesday ripped into Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) at a CNN town hall Wednesday night in Sunrise, Florida, telling Rubio he sees gunman Nikolas Cruz when he looks at Rubio.

Kasky, who is one of the leaders of the March for Our Lives movement that sprung up overnight after the school massacre, said to Rubio while standing face to face with him, “Senator Rubio it’s hard to look at you and not look down the barrel of an AR-15 and not look at Nikolas Cruz, but the point is you’re here…and there are some people who are not.”

Kasky debated Rubio for several minutes, unsuccessfully trying to get him to renounce support from the NRA, which gave Rubio $9,900 in contributions in 2016 though its political action committee. Kasky also insulted NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch, saying he want to aske her how she looks herself in the mirror because she has children.

Video of Kasky insulting and confronting Rubio was posted to Twitter by Think Progress’s Aaron Rupar.

CNN posted more of the Kasky-Rubio debate on the NRA.

The Hollywood Reporter posted a longer version of the Kasky-Rubio debate. Both CNN and THR clipped the beginning where Kasky compared Rubio to the killer Cruz.
