GOP Rep. On New Strzok-Page Texts: Obama Wanted To Know What FBI Was Doing To ‘STOP TRUMP’ (VIDEO)
Reacting to newly released text messages between FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) told “Fox & Friends,” Wednesday that he believes then-President Obama wanted to know what the bureau was doing to thwart Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.
When asked what does Page’s text about Obama wanting to “know everything we’re doing,” means, the Texas lawmaker replied, “it means the President wants to know what they are doing to try to stop Trump.”
“That’s clearly, from all the other text messages, that’s what they were working on. That’s what they cared about,” added Gohmert.
Rep. Gohmert then demanded investigators probe what Obama knew about the FBI’s efforts to “stop Trump.”
“It is extraordinary. Clearly the FBI covered for Hillary Clinton, the DOJ covered for Hillary Clinton.”
Rep. Gohmert then called for the FISA warrant transcripts to be released.
“Either the judge was duped with false information into signing a warrant or the judge is so worthless and was part of all this and didn’t care if he didn’t have the facts,” said the Texas lawmaker.
“If a fraud is presented to the court, you don’t have to have a hearing, you can just order them in contempt for six months in jail. These people should be in jail for what they did.”
