James Comey Promotes His New Audio Book – Trolls Trump ‘This Time There Will be a Tape’
Former FBI Director James Comey took a swipe at President Trump from his Twitter account Tuesday as he promoted his new memoir set to be released April 17th.
On Tuesday, James Comey posted a picture of himself recording his voice for his audio book ‘A Higher Loyalty – Truth, Lie and Leadership’.
Comey trolled Trump by saying ‘this time there will be a tape’ referring to President Trump previously taunting Comey about possible tapes of their conversations.
James Comey tweeted, “Lordy, this time there will be a tape. Audio book almost finished.”

Just a few days after President Trump fired FBI Director James Comey, the President hammered Comey from his Twitter account about possible tapes of their conversations.
James Comey told President Trump that he was not under investigation however the former FBI Director didn’t confirm that to the press.
On May 12th, Trump tweeted, “James Comey better hope that there are no “tapes” of our conversations before he starts leaking to the press!”

Comey ended up giving contents of memos he kept of his conversations with President Trump to a friend to leak to The New York Times.
Comey claimed President Trump asked him for his loyalty and also asked him to end the Flynn investigation.
This leak prompted the appointment of a Special Counsel which Comey admitted was his goal.
