President Trump officially recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital Wednesday.
The President also ordered the US embassy to be moved, however; it may take a few years.
Isreali Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to President Trump’s historic announcement today.
“President Donald Trump, thank you for today’s historic decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. The Jewish people and the Jewish state will be forever grateful.”
