CNN analyst and White House reporter for American Urban Radio Network April Ryan accused Trump administration Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders of wanting to poison her in a retort to Sanders about Ryan demanding Sanders prove she baked a chocolate pecan pie for her family’s Thanksgiving Day dinner.
April Ryan.
Sanders offered to bake Ryan a pie next week but Ryan replied accusing Sanders of wanting to poison her, “Okay I want to watch you bake it and put it on the table. But forgive I won’t eat it. Remember you guys don’t like the press.” And “Just send a photo of your pie on the Thanksgiving table on the farm!”
And, “@PressSec you can bring any pie you like, store bought or homemade into the briefing room. But, trust and believe I will not be eating it. But I will be raising my hand for answers relevant questions.”
Don’t worry @AprilDRyan because I’m nice I’ll bake one for you next week #RealPie #FakeNews ;-) https://t.co/5W3mGbKs4J
