President Trump Slated to Visit First Lady Melania’s Home Country of Slovenia

President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump accepted an invitation from Slovenian president Borut Pahor to visit Slovenia, Melania’s home country.

Pahor’s invitation came during the Three Seas Initiative summit wherein countries that border the Baltic, Adriatic, and Black seas meet, Pahor’s office announced in a statement.

Pahor posted the following photo on his Twitter and said that the two were discussing a potential visit.

The Washington Examiner reports:

President Trump has accepted an invitation from Slovenian President Borut Pahor to visit Slovenia, first lady Melania Trump’s home country.

Melania Trump grew up in eastern Slovenia in the town of Sevnica. She began her modeling career in the country’s capital, Ljubljana, but moved to New York in 1996 to further pursue her modeling career.

The visit does not have an official date at the time of writing this.
