Donald Trump continues to materially outpace Hillary Clinton in attendance at campaign events through the first 17 days of August.
Trump has now doubled the number of events that Clinton has– Month to date Trump has held 22 events to Clinton’s 11.
But more importantly Trump continues to significantly outpace Hillary in grassroots support. Trump has accumulated more than 110,000 people at his rallies while Clinton has accumulated only a little more than 10,000. Clinton has given speeches to an estimated 14,500 event goers but one of Clinton’s speeches was to the NABJ/NAHJ which was not a Hillary campaign event. This event had an estimated 4,000 in attendance. When considering only Clinton campaign events Hillary has only 10,500 campaign goers in attendance month to date. Of Clinton’s 11 events, 5 have been held in high school gyms which she can’t even fill up.
As a result month to date Trump has more than ten times the number of attendees at his events than Hillary.
Trump continues to smash Clinton in attendance at events, while Hillary continues to take time off.
Clinton took the weekend of August 6th and 7th off and she decided to take three days off this past weekend August 12th through 14th. She also has no events scheduled to participate in this coming Thursday through Saturday August 18th through 20th.
In total Clinton has taken 7 days off in August out of the first 17 days and but is not scheduled for another campaign event until Sunday. This means Hillary is working on her campaign about 50% of the time. This is not good. The average American will wonder if she will put forth the same lackadaisical effort if elected President.
Donald Trump has taken only two days off in August, Sunday August 7th and Sunday the 14th and he has 7 days where he has participated in more than one campaign event.
Also, as previously noted in a related post, Trump is destroying Clinton on social media. Trump is crushing Hillary in tweets, Facebook shares and YouTube live streams.
More than 37,000 watched Trump’s live stream of his speech in Wisconsin on Tuesday night but as noted previously Clinton is only averaging 500 per live stream of her events! This results in a ratio of 74 to 1!
To date only a little more than 8,000 have watched Hillary’s speech in West Philadelphia the same day as Trump’s speech in Wisconsin according to Hillary Clinton Speeches and Events while Trump has accumulated more than 66,000 viewers to date. This is a ratio of more than 8 to 1.
It is clear from comparing the crowds at Trump and Clinton events and from social media statistics that Trump has a movement and Hillary has gone to bed.
You would think that based on these numbers Hillary would be doing more than holding events only every other day.
Maybe Trump is right – Hillary may be just too tired to be president.
