Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei praised the recent capture of ten U.S. sailors in the Persian Gulf and their hand’s up surrender to Iran as “God’s deed.”

Khamenei reportedly made the statement in a meeting Sunday with members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps who captured the Americans without a fight. The sailors were freed the next day. Iran released a propaganda video of one of the sailors praising Iran’s treatment of the sailors.
