ABC News reported:
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump offered no apologies to Fox News debate moderator Megyn Kelly, saying he didn’t cross the line regarding his comments about her that led a conservative activist group to withdraw his invitation to an event over the weekend.
During the Republican debate Thursday, Fox News’ Megyn Kelly pressed “The Apprentice” star over his past comments on women, leading to visible tension between the pair. Trump criticized Kelly the following day, including telling CNN “there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever” while speaking about questions she asked him.
Following the exchange, the real estate mogul was disinvited to an event organized by RedState that took place Saturday in Atlanta.
In an interview with ABC’s “This Week” today, Trump reiterated his earlier clarification that by “wherever” he meant Kelly’s nose.
“She asked me a very nasty question,” he said. “I have nothing against Megyn Kelly, but she asked me a very, very nasty question.”
