Jobs for ISIS: Swedish Recruitment Agency Shut Down After Caught Recruiting for Islamic State

Earlier on Friday came the news that the Employment Service completes all work with establishment programs. The programs were set up from the previous government to help newcomers to find jobs.
The program is facing massive criticism from both employees and job seekers. Complaints have come to the Employment Service of fraud, extortion and threats from the establishment programs.
Now – We have received indications that the programs have attempted to recruit or outreach for various violent fighting groups… General Director Mikael Sjoberg Expressen says police are investigating.
According to the newspaper, they attempted recruitment to the terrorist-marked group Islamic state, but the Employment Service did not confirm this.

Employment Service establishment pilots, where new arrivals will help to link newcomers with Swedish society, was shut down. After a review, the Employment Service Director General Michael Sjöberg decided that the service should be terminated. The reason is that it had received indications of both criminal activities as extortion, threats and recruitment into terrorist groups.
We have also encountered discussions about the existence of recruitment into violent fighting groups. There is the question under discussion with the security police, says Mikael Sjoberg.
In total, there are more than 32,000 job seekers in contact with establishment pilots today. Employment Service has a contract with approximately 350 working pilots.
