On Sunday, a video showing gunman Amedy Coulibaly, who took part in the Paris terror attacks was posted online. In it, Amedy Coulibaly who was shot dead in the police raid on the Hyper Cacher supermarket in eastern Paris, says he carried out the attack on behalf of Islamic State.

The Daily Mail reported:

Terrorist Amedy Coulibaly recorded a chilling seven and a half minute long ‘suicide’ video before attacking the Jewish supermarket and killing four hostages.

In the slickly edited footage, the 32-year-old pledges allegiance to the Islamic State and its self-proclaimed Caliph, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi between cuts of him working out to develop his muscles.

The video emerged as Coulibaly, who also killed a policewoman, was linked to the shooting of a jogger on the same day 12 people were killed in the Charlie Hebdo massacre.

French prosecutors said today that ballistics tests on shell cases from the shooting in the Paris suburb of Fontenay aux Roses, linked them to the automatic weapon at the kosher store stormed two days later.

The jogger was seriously wounded in the attack.

Two days later Coulibaly died in a hail of bullets when armed police stormed the Hyper Cacher grocery, where he had held terrified staff and shoppers hostage.

In footage reportedly posted by Islamic State supporters today, a caption describes Coulibaly as Abou Bassir AbdAllah al-Ifriqi, soldier of the Caliphate, the perpetrator of Thursday’s attack in which he shot and killed a female police officer and of the Port de Vincennes Kosher deli attack, where he ‘took 17 hostages and ‘executed five Jews.’

He also claims to have put a bomb on a car which blew up in a Parisian street. This could refer to an incident that occurred in the Ville Juif (Jewish town) suburb in Paris when a car was blown up on Wednesday night.
