ISIS executed Japanese hostage Haruna Yukawa.
ISIS released video Tuesday threatening to slaughter two Japanese hostages, Kenji Goto Jogo and Haruna Yukawa, in the next 72 hours unless a $200 million ransom is paid.
Japan was reportedly unsuccessful in contacting ISIS over the hostage crisis.
An ISIS spokesman told Japanese broadcaster NHK that the group would release a statement “soon” about the hostages.
The deadline passed Friday morning.
The terror group released audio and video of the second Japanese hostage Kenji Goto Jogo on Saturday holding a photo of his slaughtered colleague.
ISIS also released a new video with Kenji Goto Jogo saying, “Don’t let Abe(?) Kill Me”
