On Friday December 5, 2014, there was reportedly a vicious attack on a Bosnian woman near Bevo Mill in South St. Louis.
The girl’s parents were very worried about their daughter’s safety.
The woman said she thought the crime was racially motivated because the suspects asked her if she was Bosnian.
The girl’s refugee father says he’s more frightened today in St. Louis than he was in Bosnia during the war.
But it was all a lie.
The girl filed a false police report.
KSDK reported:
A woman claiming she was forced out of her car and attackedin the Bevo Mill neighborhood is being charged with filing a false police report.
Seherzasa Dzanic, 26, said she was driving on the 4600 block of Lansdowne around 5:30 a.m. on December 5 when three black men in their late teens or early 20s attacked her.
Dzanic said the men walked in front of her car and displayed a handgun telling her to stop the vehicle. She said one of the suspects pulled her from the car and kicked her, while another hit her windshield with what appeared to be a crowbar. The other man went into her car and through her purse.
This incident came days after a man was beaten to death with a hammer in the same area.
