As of right now retired Air Force Col. Martha McSally (R-AZ) is leading in Arizona’s District 2 race!
Martha E. McSally is a pioneer. She is the first female fighter pilot to fly in combat, and first to command a fighter squadron in combat in United States history.
Martha is running for Congress in Arizona’s Second District.

McSally leads by 36 votes but conservative Coshise County has not reported their election day results yet.

Arizona’s Congressional District 2 rematch between incumbent Democrat Ron Barber and Republican Martha McSally is, once again, too close to call.
Right now, McSally leads Barber by 36 votes, 78,785 to 78,749, with 75% of the precincts reporting.
Meanwhile, technical problems are causing a delay in counting votes from Cochise County.
Election officials claim a machine that counts early ballots broke down in the middle of the election.
County officials took the data to Graham County where the ballots will be counted by their equipment. Graham County uses the same voting system. It is not known how many ballots still need to be counted.
