At least one store in Ferguson was looted tonight after a town hall meeting.

St. Louis Alderman Antonio French reports that looting and gunfire have erupted in Ferguson, Missouri Tuesday night following the burning last night of a makeshift memorial to unarmed 18 year old black robber Michael Brown who was shot dead last month by a white police officer minutes after Brown robbed a convenience store.
Young people broke into Beauty Town in Ferguson tonight. “Burn it down!” one yells. The night started with a vigil on Canfield Avenue in Ferguson for Mike Brown. The looting broke out after the Ferguson City Council meeting tonight.

KMOV reported that four police officers were hit by rocks:
St. Louis County Police Department said seven people were arrested, one business was vandalized and at least four officers were hit with rocks after an unruly crowd gathered in Ferguson Tuesday night.
St. Louis County Police said they received four calls for “shots fired” starting at 9:03 p.m.

Brown was shot on August 9, 2014 after robbing a local Ferguson market. The makeshift Mike Brown memorial on Canfield Drive in Ferguson, Missouri caught fire and burned to the ground this morning.
