ISIS claims their caliphate extends from Aleppo, Syria to Diyala in Iraq.
ISIS spokesman Shekh Abu Muhammad al-Adnani announced today the establishment of the Caliphate in Iraq-Syria and appointment of Abu Bakr as caliph.

Under Islamic law, jizya or jizyah is a per capita tax levied on non-Muslim subjects.
