Democrat Adam Schiff (D-CA) told Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace that he would not recommend congressional Democrats participate in the just-announced Select Committee on Benghazi.
“I don’t think it makes sense really for Democrats to participate. It’s just a tremendous red herring, and a waste of taxpayer resources… I don’t think it makes sense for us to give this Select Committee any more credibility than it deserves.”
FOX News reported Friday morning Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) will lead a Select Committee investigation on the White House Benghazi scandal.
