On November 7, 2012 during a Senate hearing on the federal response to Hurricane Sandy, Rand Paul voiced his disapproval of the way some politicians had used Sandy aid to fund television ads that looked like campaign-style ads.
Paul was referring to Chris Christie’s ads in New Jersey.
Senator Paul said the ads gave “a little bit of a black eye” to the recovery efforts.
Today, just days after dismissing two top advisers for their roles in the George Washington Bridge scandal, CNN broke the news about the Sandy ads investigation.
This comes two months after Senator Paul’s statements in November. It’s almost as if this is a concerted effort by the Democratic-media complex to destroy Christie, huh?
