Kathleen Sebelius told reporters today 106,185 Americans signed for Obamacare in October.
That is one-fifth of the total that was expected.
26,794 people enrolled through Healthcare.gov website.
CNN analysts called the October numbers “embarrassing.”
The number represents the number of Americans “who picked a plan” during October.
So 7 million Americans were kicked off their plans in November and only 106,000 picked new plans.
The government did not give a breakdown on the number of youths who signed up for a plan.
