Kerry went on national TV and declared that youtube videos were “proof” that Assad was Syria’s “Hitler.” Never mind that Syrian rebels could have used chemical warfare with or without Assad’s approval. Kerry uses the typical Democrat trick of appealing to emotions through video images, which is correctly summed up by Col. Ralph Peters: Melodrama is not a substitute for strategy. Not to mention that British intel indicate that Syrian officers were given an offer they couldn’t refuse on deploying WMDs, and we have no proof of which Islamic factions were behind those orders.
Even more scary is the fact that there are many reports to remind us of a cozy dining experience Kerry had with Syria’s “Hitler” Assad. Major hypocrisy alert.

An astonishing photograph of John Kerry having a cozy and intimate dinner with Bashar al-Assad has emerged at the moment the U.S Secretary of State is making the case to bomb the Syrian dictator’s country and remove him from power.
Kerry, who compared Assad to Adolf Hitler and Saddam Hussein yesterday, is pictured around a small table with his wife Teresa Heinz and the Assads in 2009.
Assad and Kerry, then a Massachusetts senator, lean in towards each other and appear deep in conversation as their spouses look on.
A waiter is pictured at their side with a tray of green drinks, believed to be lemon and crushed mint.
The picture was likely taken in February 2009 in the Naranj restaurant in Damascus, when Kerry led a delegation to Syria to discuss finding a way forward for peace in the region.
While President Barack Obama has softened his military threat against Syria by putting the question to Congress and guaranteeing at least a week’s delay, Kerry remains outspoken about the dangers posed by the Syrian regime.
He said that Assad ‘has now joined the list of Adolf Hitler and Saddam Hussein’ in deploying chemical weapons against his own people. […]

Kerry has been the American emissary for the worst dictators the world over. Kerry has been committed to reconciling with the world’s state sponsor of Islamic terror, Iran. In the early 1970s, he denounced the U.S. for alleged systematic “war crimes” in Vietnam. As organizer of Vietnam Veterans Against the War, he worked to cut off aid to anti-Communist guerrillas in Nicaragua during the 1980s. And he proposed large reductions in U.S. defense and intelligence spending (source: DTN)
In the summer of 2012, Kerry delivered a speech on the Senate Floor warning of the dangers of “climate change,” which he said was “as dangerous as any of the sort of real crises that we talk about,” including the prospect of a nuclear-armed Iran
In the past, John Kerry has shown his willingness to visit Tehran. And now he is a self-declared moral authority?
